beyond judgments of good and evil, beyond the reach of the senses…
the Source of Everything and the Supreme Goal of human desire.
In the Ishayas’ Teaching it is called “the Ascendant”.
The name is unimportant,
only a way to speak of what is beyond names.
By their nature as techniques of approach,
the Ishayas’ Attitudes carry the mind
to a direct experience of the Ascendant.
Awareness ascends, or rises above, the distractions of self-defeating habits.
Effectiveness of the Ishayas’ Teaching of Ascension
comes from its quality of absolute truth.
Nothing in this practice calls for belief
or conflicts with any religion.
The Attitudes are simple phrases aligned with Natural Law
that engage the tendencies of mind and body in service to Life.
The mind wants to enlarge the experience of happiness;
the body is designed to heal itself.
With regular application in natural circumstances,
the Ishayas’ techniques of approach
gently dissolve obstructions to accurate understanding of Life.
Appreciation, gratitude and love
replace negative habits of thought and return awareness to the present.
Incoherent energies come into harmony.
The mind rests in the supreme joy of the Ascendant, its Source,
fulfilling its purpose as the servant of Life,
the servant of the Heart.
The willingness to give up suffering
is the basis for transforming experience.
